Autumn Breaks in Dublin

Dreaming of a cozy autumn getaway in Europe? Look no further than Dublin, Ireland. Ranked among the top ten cities to visit by Lonely Planet, Dublin offers a treasure trove of activities and experiences for every traveller. Despite its compact size, Dublin brims with attractions. Spend a few days wandering its cobbled streets, uncovering hidden gems, and soaking in the rich history from Viking origins to elegant Georgian architecture.

Repro Free: 05/07/2021 Ireland’s number one visitor experience, the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, is reopening its doors for the first time in over six months.
In celebration of the reopening, the iconic Guinness Gates on Market Street have been painted for the very first time in their history, by acclaimed Dublin-based artist Aches. “TOGETHER STRONGER” takes inspiration taken from an old Irish proverb - “Ní neart go cur le chéile” – there is no strength without unity.
This summer, the Home of Guinness launches their new Canvas D8 series, a space for culture to thrive in the heart of Dublin’s exciting Liberties district. This includes a new streetscape art gallery surrounding the Home of Guinness, a seven-storey high immersive light sculpture, and a range of music and food events to be announced during the summer.
Aches said, “I think it’s important for the Guinness Storehouse and other spaces like it to open its doors to young artists, because we’re so limited in terms of space to show our work in Dublin. It’s been so exciting for me to be involved in Canvas D8 and I’m super proud to be the first artist ever given the chance to paint the Guinness Gates.”
